Is the free tier really free?
Yes. The CLI — X-ray, living docs, ADRs, conformance ratchet, agent steering, and the CI gate — is MIT-licensed and runs entirely on your machine. It's free forever with no account. You only pay when you want the cloud situation room across multiple repos.
Does my source code leave my machine?
Not on the free tier — the engine reads code statically and writes to a local .archsteer/ folder. On Team and Enterprise you push a compact architecture snapshot (component counts, layers, drift scores — not source) to the situation room. Enterprise can self-host so nothing leaves your network.
What counts as a repo?
Each distinct repository you push snapshots from. Local X-rays are always unlimited; the repo limit only applies to what's tracked in the cloud situation room.
What is founding-team pricing?
Early teams who adopt the situation room now lock today's price for the life of their subscription and get hands-on onboarding from us. We're taking a small number of design partners to shape the roadmap.
